Program Rules, Student Guidelines & Participation Policy

These Rules, Guidelines, and Participation Policies apply to all students, learners, internship candidates, job seekers, franchise participants, placement applicants, corporate trainees, and users of JALA Academy services.

By enrolling in any JALA Academy program, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Rules, the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any program-specific requirements.

Students Enrolled Directly with JALA Academy (Online Programs)

  • Eligible students may access learning resources, technologies, projects, and support services offered by JALA Academy for up to ten (10) years, subject to platform availability and policy updates.
  • Access to project-based learning, assignments, assessments, certification preparation, and practical industry-oriented training.
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions, technical guidance, and project support may be provided subject to scheduling availability and fair-use policies.
  • Career guidance, resume preparation, interview preparation, mock interviews, and employability skill development support.
  • Eligible candidates may participate in placement assistance programs, recruitment drives, and employer referral opportunities.
  • Training is primarily delivered through online learning platforms, virtual classrooms, project collaboration systems, and digital tools.
  • Placement assistance is subject to successful completion of training, assessments, attendance requirements, and participation standards.

Students Enrolled Through Authorized Franchise Centers (Offline Programs)

  • Students may enroll in designated training programs through authorized franchise centers.
  • Access to offline classroom facilities shall be governed by franchise-specific schedules, infrastructure, and operational policies.
  • Students may receive access to online learning resources, project repositories, assessments, and additional training content as determined by JALA Academy.
  • Interview preparation, career support, and project mentoring may be provided through online and offline channels.
  • Franchise center access and services may vary based on location, infrastructure availability, and operating requirements.

Internship Programs

  • Internship opportunities may be offered to eligible students, freshers, graduates, and trained candidates based on business requirements and project availability.
  • Candidates may be required to successfully complete onboarding, assessments, project training, and evaluation criteria before internship assignments are allocated.
  • Internship duration, project assignments, working hours, performance expectations, and reporting requirements shall be communicated separately.
  • Stipends, if offered, shall be governed by separate internship agreements and applicable policies.
  • Internship participation does not automatically guarantee employment, conversion, placement, compensation, or future engagement.
  • Participants must maintain professional conduct, attendance, confidentiality, and project delivery standards throughout the internship period.

Placement Assistance & Career Services

  • JALA Academy provides placement assistance, interview preparation, recruiter introductions, employer referrals, and career guidance services to eligible candidates.
  • Placement outcomes depend on individual skills, attendance, communication abilities, assessment performance, market demand, employer requirements, geographic preferences, and economic conditions.
  • JALA Academy does not guarantee employment with any specific employer, salary package, location, designation, industry, or employment timeline unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
  • Candidates are expected to actively participate in projects, assessments, interviews, mock interviews, and recruitment activities.
  • Failure to comply with training requirements, attendance obligations, project submissions, ethical standards, or placement guidelines may affect eligibility for placement support services.

Student Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and account information.
  • Attend training sessions and complete assigned projects and assessments.
  • Respect intellectual property rights and proprietary content.
  • Refrain from plagiarism, cheating, academic misconduct, unauthorized content sharing, or misuse of platform resources.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies.

Data Protection & Privacy

JALA Academy processes personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), Information Technology Act, 2000, GDPR where applicable, and other relevant international privacy frameworks.

Students participating in internships, placement assistance, certifications, and employer engagements authorize JALA Academy to share relevant educational, assessment, project, resume, certification, and professional information with employers, recruiters, and hiring partners for legitimate recruitment and career-development purposes.

Intellectual Property Rights

All course materials, videos, documentation, assessments, software code, project templates, training content, trademarks, branding elements, and educational resources remain the exclusive property of JALA Academy or its licensors.

Unauthorized copying, recording, distribution, resale, publication, reproduction, or commercial exploitation of training materials is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JALA Academy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from participation in training, internship, placement, or educational services.

JALA Academy shall not be responsible for employment decisions made by employers, hiring freezes, market conditions, economic downturns, visa restrictions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Compliance with Laws

These Rules are designed to align with applicable legal, consumer protection, privacy, educational, and electronic commerce regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India)
  • Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)
  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India)
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • UK GDPR
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)
  • Applicable international privacy and cybersecurity frameworks

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Rules and Guidelines shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, proceeding, or legal action arising out of or relating to JALA Academy, its services, training programs, internships, placement services, certifications, policies, or agreements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Amendments

JALA Academy reserves the right to modify, update, revise, or replace these Rules and Guidelines at any time. Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the official website.
